Carina M. Reyna, Esq.
Attorney Carina was born and raised in Whittier, California. She attended Whittier High School and graduated from Whittier College in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a minor in English. During undergrad, Carina worked for a private law firm which dealt mainly with high profile criminal matters and complex divorce cases involving high-net-worth assets.
In 2015, Carina earned her J.D from Southwestern Law School, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. During law school, Carina spent two years working as a law clerk for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. As part of the Sexually Violent Predator Unit, Carina played a critical role in the prosecution of several high profile sex crime cases and assisted in successfully preventing the pre-release of various high risk serial rapists. In addition, as a certified law clerk, Carina received extensive training in the prosecution of cases involving drugs, murder for hire, gang related offense and sex crimes. This experience allowed her to spend a vast majority of her time in the courtroom handling cases involving violent felonies and misdemeanors.
After law school, Carina joined a private law firm dedicated to obtaining non-immigrant entertainment visas for high-profile international personalities, artists, musical groups, athletes and other businesses within the entertainment world.
Prior to the opening of her own firm, Carina was recruited as a Political Director for various campaigns in the Los Angeles Area, and is still called upon by candidates for guidance on campaign strategies and has assisted with the drafting of legislative proposals.
In January 2018, Carina opened her own law firm dedicated exclusively to Family Law and Criminal Defense. Carina’s experience enables her to provide confident and vigorous representation to clients when they need it the most. With over eight years of experience working in family law, and the extensive training she gained from her work at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, Carina understands how the justice system works and isn’t afraid to fight for each and every client to the fullest extent of the law.
Carina’s path to success was not traveled alone, as a mother of three children and a wife to an LAFD Fire Captain, her drive and motivation is rooted in her belief that nothing comes easy - “Life is unexpected and at times difficult.” This is why she has dedicated her life to the pursuit of justice, especially for those in need of a voice.
